Job Title: Civil Operative Job Summary:

If you’re self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills, you’ll have what it takes to become a General Civils Operative with STEADLINE.
We are looking for skilled Civil operatives within the Kent region, to join our dedicated team. Due to the nature of the works, there may be a requirement to work out of hours (nightshift) or over the weekend, although notice will be given.

 Location: Based in Maidstone and Medway Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Duties:

As a Civil Operative you will be required to do a variety of tasks to a high standard and there will be opportunities to progress within the company.

  • Provide a first-class service to our clients, along with quality and pride.

  • Ensuring HSQE regulations are complied with at all times.

  • Be able to work as part of a team

 Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • General Civils: Minimum 3 years’ experience

  • Must have experience working on highways as well as site work.

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

  • Valid CSCS card & Streetworks is essential

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Good communication skills, both in person and in writing

  • Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers

  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving
