Job Title: Civil Operative Job Summary:

If you’re self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills, you’ll have what it takes to become a General Civils Operative with STEADLINE.
We are looking for skilled Civil operatives within the Kent region, to join our dedicated team. Due to the nature of the works, there may be a requirement to work out of hours (nightshift) or over the weekend, although notice will be given.

 Location: Based in Maidstone and Medway Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Duties:

As a Civil Operative you will be required to do a variety of tasks to a high standard and there will be opportunities to progress within the company.

  • Provide a first-class service to our clients, along with quality and pride.

  • Ensuring HSQE regulations are complied with at all times.

  • Be able to work as part of a team

 Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • General Civils: Minimum 3 years’ experience

  • Must have experience working on highways as well as site work.

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

  • Valid CSCS card & Streetworks is essential

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Good communication skills, both in person and in writing

  • Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers

  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving

Job Title: Civils Gang Job Summary:

If you’re self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills, you’ll have what it takes to become a General Civils Gang with STEADLINE.

We are looking for a skilled Civil’s Gang within the Kent region, to join our dedicated Company. Due to the nature of the works, there may be a requirement to work out of hours (nightshift) or over the weekend, although notice will be given.

As a Civil Gang you will be required to do a variety of tasks to a high standard and there will be opportunities to progress within the company.

 Location: Based in Maidstone and Medway Salary: Negotiable depending on level of skill Duties:
  • Assist and be part of the delivery of Day- to- Day maintenance, minor and major Civil projects
  • Provide first class service to our clients, along with quality and pride.
  • Ensuring HSQE regulations are complied with at all times.
  • Be Able to read and set out projects from drawings.
  • Must be able to work to a program
  • Daily site reporting along with site folders
 Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
  • General Civils Maintenance: Minimum 6 years
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Valid CSCS card is essential
  • Valid Street Works
  • PTS competence is advantage
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and clients
  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving
  • Relevant Tickets for competency of Civils
  • Must have good team ethic and the drive to deliver projects on time
